This deposit will go towards the total amount of your tattoo.
You will pay the remaining balance the day of your appointment.

If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours prior.
If you will be late to your appointment, please contact me and let me know.
If you are more than an hour late to your appointment without letting me know, your appointment is cancelled and your deposit is forfeit. You will need to send a new one to book a new appointment.

The shop minimum is $100. This covers small, simple line work less than 4" in size.

My hourly rate is $120 per hour for large scale projects. Otherwise, I price by design.

NO.
I no longer tattoo minors.

Please have a valid form of identification with you.

For your comfort, I recommend bringing a sweater, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and a pair of headphones.

If you were given second skin for your tattoo, please refer to the following! If not, you can skip ahead to the next section:

Second Skin is a thin, breathable, and waterproof medical-grade adhesive film used to protect fresh tattoos or healing wounds. It seals in the body's natural healing fluids, blocks out dirt and bacteria, and stops clothing from rubbing against the skin.
If second skin was applied to your tattoo, please leave the bandage on for about 1 - 3 days. The mixture of plasma, blood, and ink that is trapped inside almost mimics a scab, and is used to speed up the healing process of your tattoo as well as protect it from outside elements.

On the final day, please remove your second skin by gently stretching it parallel to your skin under warm, soapy water. The warm water and soap will help losen the adhesive. Be gentle and be slow!

If prior to removing it your second skin peels/breaks and exposes your tattoo or if any redness, itchiness, or discomfort occue around the bandage, please take it off early.

While second skin does protect your tattoo from outside bacteria, please refrain from submerging yourself in bodies of water.

Once you've got your second skin off, please refer to the following for the rest of your aftercare:

Gently clean your tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap and water. If you have sensitive skin and antibacterial soap is too harsh for you, you may use a sensitive skin soap or baby soap so long as it has not fragrance. Once clean, gently pat your tattoo dry with a fresh paper towel and apply a light layer of unscented moisturizer.
I typically do not recommend Aquaphor unless you live in a dry environment or have dry skin!

Note: Vaseline would not work the same! Vaseline is 100% petroleum jelly, which means it would not give your tattoo any room to breathe and may trap excess moisture/bacteria.

For moisturizers, I recommend:

For soap, I recommend:

You will repeat this process twice a day for about two - three weeks.
You will know your tattoo is fully healed when there is not peeling or shiny/scabbed areas on your tattoo. If you were not given a second skin bandage, clean your tattoo as soon as you arrive home and do not apply any moisturizer until the next day.

Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo while it is healing. This can break the skin further and introduce bacteria, which can lead to infection and/or loss of quality.
If it's really itchy, gently press your fingernail around the outside of the tattoo or gently slap it.

Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight while it is healing. Ultraviolet rays and heat from the sun can irritate your tattoo futher, and applying sunscreen while it is an open wound could introduce foreign chemicals into your body. Just cover it up!

Do not submerge your tattoo in any body of water during the healing process. This includes bathtubs, pools, lakes, rivers, beaches, blood, saliva... you get it.

Please refrain from working out / sweating profusely in that area for at least 72 hours. The skin is still open, and introducing gym bacteria is not a great idea. If you must get your gains, please thoroughly clean your tattoo after your workout.

Do not moisturize with oils-- especially if you are going out into the sun. It can literally cook your tattoo.

Do not let your pet or significant other lick your healing tattoo.

If you are having an allergic reaction to the ink, take an allergy medication that is safe for you.
Do not apply any topical cream or ointments, as your tattoo is still an open wound and you would not want to introduce any foreign chemicals into your body.
